Born and raised in Toronto, I began working in the marketing-communications industry at a young age (starting with being an intern in television commercial production through high school).

In university, I was a pioneering student in the Class of 2000 digital ”Advantage” program at Acadia University (Wolfville, NS).

After my studies, I joined Young & Rubicam Advertising in Toronto to modernize and manage their broadcast production subsidiary.

Soon after, I became a Multi-Media Producer at the agency, specializing in creating and crossing television, corporate, radio, interactive and cinema advertising (working with clients such as Sears, Colgate-Palmolive, Cadbury Beverages, AT&T and Ford).

I later joined Rogers Communications to, similarly, help to launch and champion a new broadcast and interactive subsidiary, Rogers Productions. I helped to shape, build and start the company and oversee its flagship clients (such as Publicis, MacLaren McCann and Young & Rubicam).

In 2003, my experience led to consulting and contracting with boutiques and start-ups, websites and media-arts companies such as the Washington Ballet and Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

Motivated to get closer to Canada’s thriving interactive community (and the shift that the industry was taking into emerging digital spaces), I moved to Ottawa in 2008 and joined Fuel Industries (premier producers of branded entertainment).

In the summer of 2010, I established Clout (a boutique agency specializing in emerging media).
